Results of SIDA-ENTREPRISES' competition
First we would like to congratulate all the participants who took the time to fill out the action forms and had the courage to be evaluated!

On the 2nd of March 2009, a committee gathering 8 persons (members or staff of SIDA-ENTREPRISES) examined the 76 action forms send by African subsidiaries that participated in the competition for the best action organized in 2008 against HIV.

Participants will soon receive an email detailing their action forms but here are the general results:

- 24 forms have been rejected because
the action described took place in 2007 or nothing new had been organized in 2008 on the theme ; the checked theme doesn’t fit with the action described ; there wasn’t enough details (despite a demand by mail) to understand what had been organized.
- 15 forms have a note under 20/40, certainly by lack of details.
- 26 forms are very good examples of actions and will be posted on the website www.sidaentreprises.org , in the corner "Members Only" in a few weeks because we are working on it. An email will inform you of its availability.
- TOP : the 11 best forms were submitted to the vote of the committee to elect the winner.

The winner is the Société Générale de Banques en Côte d'Ivoire, which has presented an action on the theme number 7 "Promotion and organization of HIV testing."

The arrangements for giving the award and the organization of the KAP survey will be discussed in advance with the headquarters of Société Générale.

The 2nd prize is going to CFAO Togo, who presented an action on theme number 13, “Awareness building activities targeting families”. The prize will be a mission of SIDA-ENTREPRISES’ Director of Development to provide technical support.

The arrangements for giving the award and the organization of the mission will be discussed in advance with the headquarters of CFAO.

The 3rd prize awards the Imprimerie Industrielle Ivoirienne who presented an action on the theme number 7 "Promotion and organization of HIV testing." The price will be a training session of the Committee and peer educators.

The arrangements for giving the award and the organization of the training will be discussed in advance with the headquarters of Imperial Tobacco.
